The Cathedral Basilica of St. Augustine is one of the most iconic historic sites in the city, and it's the oldest Catholic Church in the city built in 1797.

Located on the central plaza in St. Augustine, the Cathedral Basilica features Spanish-style architecture, beautiful stained glass windows, and more. The church is the seat of the Bishop of Diocese of St. Augustine. 

Guided tours are available daily, but visitors are welcome to stop in at any time during the day. The Cathedral hosts mass at 7 a.m. daily Monday through Saturday. You can also call ahead to book a group tour of the building.
